HOW THE WORK BEGINS

The work begins before construction.

Before a project is designed, the people who will use, operate and maintain it need a real say in the decision. That means listening first, agreeing responsibilities early, and returning after delivery to learn what is still working.

What did the community identify?Who owns operation? What changes if it works?

THREE CONNECTED SYSTEMS

People’s lives are not divided into sectors.

HOW WE WORK

Listen → Co-design → Deliver → Handover → Measure again

Every stage leaves a trace: a decision, a budget, a handover record, a maintenance owner and a result that can be checked.

  1. 01Listen before defining
  2. 02Agree the responsibility
  3. 03Deliver with local partners
  4. 04Record what happened
  5. 05Return and check again

TWO WINGS

Two wings. One responsibility.

One wing stays close to communities and the realities of place. The other extends outward—to Ethiopians and partners who want to contribute responsibly. Both must remain accountable to the work.

Meet Dhul Janahayn

Close to the work, wherever you live.

Ethiopians and partners abroad should be able to support a defined need, understand who is responsible, and follow the record from first decision to follow-up.
